For Xiaomi phones, branded as “Redmi”.
Two things need to be done:
- A. Battery Optimizations needs to be turned off
- B. Auto start needs to be set (if applicable depending in your operating system version)
A. Turn OFF Battery Optimization for FrontPage
- 1. Go to Settings > Battery
- 2. Select Battery Usage
- 3. Scroll to FrontPage
- 4. Tap on Battery Saver
- 5. Select “No Restrictions”
For XIAOMI – MIUI v7/v8, you may need the following steps:
- 1. Open Security app
- 2. Tap on “Battery xx %”
- 3. Tap on “App battery saver”
4. Now locate FrontPage from the list of Installed App.

5. Select “No restrictions” and “Allow”
B. Enable Auto Start for FrontPage
- 1. Goto Settings > Installed Apps
- 2. Tap on Permissions tap in top right
- 3. Tap on Autostart
- 4. Scroll to FrontPage and enable the button next to it.
- 5. Done.
For a different version of operating system on Redmi devices, the screens may look like the following:
- 1. Goto Settings > Installed apps
- 2. Scroll to FrontPage and tap on it
- 3. Enable the button next to Autostart
- 4. Tap on OK in the Attention dialog
- 5. All set.
For MIUI v7 or v8 please follow this flow:
- 1. Open Security app
- 2. Tap on Permissions
- 3. Tap on Autostart
4. Now locate FrontPage from the list of apps and TURN ON the button next to it.
5. If you have trouble getting SOUND with notifications try this:
Go to Settings > Notifications & Status Bar > App Notifications > Select FrontPage and Enable Sound.
