Over the last few months, it has been incredibly gratifying to witness how FrontPage services have allowed top quality creators to connect with and deliver enormous value to their subscribers on a platform of their choice. FrontPage services are the #1 productivity solution for creators. And we will continue to enhance the service experience delivering ever-higher time gains to our creators.
Meanwhile, a lot of our creators and users alike have been asking for an experience outside of what services enable. While paid services are run by experts with deep knowledge, there is a huge amount of accumulated knowledge in the heads of all the people who have a FrontPage app.
Now FrontPage’s goal is to facilitate the publishing & distribution of the best ideas regardless of where they germinate. With that end in mind, we have put out the biggest makeover of FrontPage yet. And of course, we are calling it FrontPage 2.0 :).
What’s new in FrontPage 2.0
Forums
FrontPage stock focused forums allow anyone to stay connected in real-time to what the universe is saying about the stocks in their trading plan/portfolio. The forum also shows the NSE quote (slightly delayed) as well as relevant news about the stock.
Following
Anyone can now follow anyone and stay in touch with their view of the market and their activity in forums. Think of this very much like your Twitter feed.
Enhanced Search & Discovery
Users can now “discover” forums, services and people sorted by the number of followers in each. Search is also enhanced to include searching a user profile, a service or a forum by name or name of the creator etc.
Rollout plan
The FrontPage web app is live, this will be followed by the Android app next week. The iPhone app update is still in dev and will take a couple more weeks.
If you are an influencer, please make sure you start adding posts in the relevant forums so that people who follow you don’t see blank screens in their feeds.
Feedback
Please do share your feedback with us at dev @ crowdware dot in. Or just tap the feedback button from within your FrontPage app.
PS: If you are a creator, please do read FrontPage 2.0 for creators .
