These steps are for enabling Android notifications on Asus devices. Depending on the version of your operating system, these options/screens may be slightly different.
A. Add FrontPage to Auto Start on Asus devices
1. Go to Setting > Power management
2. Tap on Auto-start Manager
3. On the next screen go to FrontPage app. It may be there in the
4. Turn ON the button next to FrontPage.
If you don’t have the above option on your OS, try this:
Go to Mobile Manager > Permissions > Auto-start Manager > FrontPage
These steps are for enabling Android notifications on Samsung devices. Depending on the version of your operating system, these options/screens may be slightly different.
A. Add FrontPage to “Unmonitored Apps” on Samsung devices
1. Open Settings > Device Mainternance
2. Tap on Battery
3. Scroll down and tap on “Unmonitored apps”
4. Tap on Add apps and select FrontPage
5. After selecting FrontPage, FrontPage should show in the list of Unmonitored Apps.
B. Disable Power Save/Battery Optimization for FrontPage
Go to Settings > Battery and follow the steps below. If you don’t have Battery under settings, scroll down to the section 2.
1. Go to Settings > Battery > Scroll down to App Power Saving > Tap on DETAIL
2. Scroll down to FrontPage and tap on it
3. Select Disabled from the dialog
2. If you did not have the “Battery” option as specified in 1 above, under Settings look for “Apps”. If you have you are done.
1. Go to Settings > Apps. Scroll down and tap on FrontPage.
2. Scroll down and tap on Optimize Battery Usage
3. Under All Apps, scroll down to FrontPage and TURN OFF the button next to FrontPage. Done.
These steps are for enabling Android notifications on Vivo devices. Depending on the version of your operating system, these may not be enough. You may also have to DISABLE battery optimization.
A. Set FrontPage to Auto Start on Vivo devices
1. Goto Settings > More Settings
2. Tap on Applications
3. Tap on Autostart
4. Scroll to FrontPage and Turn On the button next to FrontPage
5. Once you turn ON, it will looks like this. You are done.
If you don’t have the Auto start option on your device, try this:
Go to Settings > Battery > High background power consumption
Enable (toggle ON) the switch next to FrontPage
B. Enable notifications for FrontPage
Go to Settings > Status Bar & Notifications > FrontPage
Switch ON all the options including Allow notification, Priority, Show on lock screen, Top preview
These steps are for fixing Android notifications on LYF devices. Depending on the version of your operating system, the screens/menus may be slightly different:
A. Disable Battery Optimization for FrontPage
1. Goto Settings > Battery and Power Saver
2. Tap on the 3 dots button in the top right to open Battery Optimization
3. Select “All Apps” from the top menu and scroll to FrontPage and tap on it
5. When you come back to the apps list, it will show Not optimized for FrontPage.
These steps are for fixing notifications on OnePlus devices. These settings may be different depending the version of Oxygen OS on your device so please read through all the options mentioned below.
OnePlus (Android 7.0 and earlier)
For system versions earlier than Android 8.0 Oreo, ensure that FrontPage is set to auto-launch:
From the app drawer, tap
Apps. Tap the
in the top right. gear icon Select
App Autolaunch. Toggle
FrontPage to enable.
App auto launch on Oxygen OS on One Plus devices
OnePlus (Android 8.0 and later)
Step 1: Check that app storage is set to clear normally
From the app drawer, tap
Recent apps management. Ensure that
Normal clear is enabled.
Step 2: Exclude FrontPage from battery optimization
From the app drawer, tap
Battery, then Battery Optimization. Tap
Apps not optimized and select All apps. Find FrontPage and ensure it’s set to
1. Goto Settings > Battery
2. Select Batter optimization
3. Scroll to FrontPage app and tap on it
4. Select “Don’t Optimize” from the options and tap Done.
4. It should show Don’t Optimize in the list of apps when you come back to the list.
Adjust your battery optimization to allow notifications from FrontPage when it’s running in the background:
From the app drawer, tap
Battery Optimization. Tap the
Overflow menu in the top right of that screen. Select
Advanced Optimization. Toggle
FrontPage to OFF.
If you did not find the options above, try this:
System Settings > Battery > Menu > Aggressive Doze & App Hibernation In the list title “Optimized”, scroll down to FrontPage and Turn ON the buttons next to it.
Next check these steps:
Go to System Settings > Battery > Menu > High Power Usage apps If FrontPage is shown here, disable it.
Also do this:
System Settings > Advanced > Recent App Management Select Normal Clear,
not Deep Clear as show in the picture below:
Make sure normal clear is selected, not Deep clear.
